Seattle Dance Fitness instructors are known for their infectious and crazy energy! You will want to dance bigger, jump higher, and just generally work harder than you thought you could just by showing up to a class! In their classes Jessica and Camille work hard to bring you fresh, fun, and original dance fitness choreography as well as only the best choreography from Zumba® all star choregraphers. In "Cardio Dance Party" classes students will follow along each week to original dance fitness choreography featuring pop/hip hop/dancehall and Top 40 music. These classes are high energy! Both hour long classes you will help you burn between 400-1000 calories and leave you feeling sassy, happy, confident, and empowered!

HHK is best described as a weekly after school DANCE PARTY featuring kid-friendly hip hop and pop routines!
Each week we break down the steps and add games and fun dance activities. New songs and song requests by students add to the fun and unique feeling of each and every class!
Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, teamwork, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, and coordination. Hip Hop Kids Dance Fitness helps to develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness FUN!

Jessica's love of dance began as a toddler and has only grown with time. She is known amongst her friends, students and community for all things DANCE! She holds a BA in dance from the University of Washington and enjoyed a professional contemporary modern dance career in Seattle throughout her 20’s. After becoming a mom Jessica was looking for a way to satisfy her dance cravings and discovered and fell in love with Zumba®! She decided to take her passion for Zumba® to the next level in 2014 and became an instructor. While Jessica loves the Latin and World music flavors found in a Zumba class, she has found her next passion in “Cardio Dance Party” classes where students dance each week to original follow along dance fitness choreography featuring pop, hip hop and Top 40 music. Through dance fitness classes Jessica found her calling in helping to empower her students, both adults and kiddos. Her classes offer a truly FUN and satisfying option for creating a HEALTHY lifestyle that lasts for a lifetime.
Camille has a deep love of dance. She began her life of dancing at a young age with her family when she would push back the couches change into her shiny pink unitard and rockout with her 5 sisters while her dad would play the drums. Her first dance class in a studio felt like coming home. She has studied ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, tap and now Dance Fitness and Zumba! Camille studied ballet and all dance forms at Utah Valley University with Repertory Ballet Ensemble and Utah Regional Ballet. She teaches all ages from wee little babies to toddlers to teenagers to adults and even grandparents! After she had her first of three children in 2011 she tried a Zumba class for the first time and was hooked! In 2013 she began teaching Zumba in Seattle 5-10 times a week! Dance Fitness became her favorite form of teaching dance and sharing her love of dance with others. She loves the energy and enthusiasm that comes in a group fitness class as well as being able to teach all ages to move their bodies have fun and try something they may never have done! Dance Fitness is for everyone!
Elizabeth Ang, also known as Liz, is an outgoing and vibrant 28 year old. She was born and raised in our beautiful state of Washington with her large Filipino family. She is a new graduate with a degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. She has a strong passion for helping others and teaching has always been her lifelong dream career.
Now that she is a teacher, Liz also wanted to share her love for dance and became a dance instructor. She currently holds a certification in Zumba but has been dancing since she was seven years old. She would choreograph dances with her cousins and perform for her family at holidays and parties. She enjoys dancing in the styles of hip hop, salsa, merengue, bachata, jazz, pop, and country line dance. Her dancing inspiration comes from the love of challenging her body and continuously learning new moves and dance styles.
Not only does Liz dance and teach, but she also enjoys many hobbies such as snowboarding, skiing, wakeboarding, weightlifting, rock climbing, and hiking. Liz is also a snowboard/ski instructor in her spare time. Her reason for being different types of instructors is because she loves sharing her knowledge and seeing others succeed is her favorite thing about teaching. She is beyond ecstatic to be our new Hip Hop Kids Dance Fitness instructor and can't wait to share this adventure with you and your child.
